AMERICAN FLAG series

This was truly a joy to paint... and can hang on the vertical ( go on...tilt your head )... actually I hung it the day of First Friday Art Walk...and it SOLD that evening.... 10x50 acrylic on linen gallery wrapped...

I have more interest in staying in the moment than going down memory lane..... I suppose that's what painting everyday will do ! Each work presents it's own set of problems and choices... the right brain is free to explore and navigate spaces of color and form... no speech allowed !.... The act and action of painting renews itself by the pure gesture .... allowing an energy to flow.... spontaneous discipline...disciplined spontaneity...
